Limerent

Limerent screams in your face and whispers in your ear. The Utrecht-based four piece creates a mix of alt-rock and post-punk that plays with your expectations in a deafening way. Melodic basslines and grungy chords are broken up by aggressive riffs and vocals that float between punk and poetry. Limerent write about frustrations in their personal lives, but also their frustrations with our society, like they did in their contribution to the compilation album 'Girls to the Front'. Their music is gripping, unpredictable, and most of all very energetic. In september of 2024 they were excited to release their debut single ‘Unspecified’. On international women’s day they released their new song ‘Business Class’. Their contribution to the album ‘Girls To The Front’, a fierce compilation celebrating female fronted acts in the Dutch punk scene. Released by Plato Utrecht Records, this album is a loud and important statement against the status quo.
