A nostalgic jazz artist.
Dubbed "10-piece jazz sensations" by LA Weekly and "one of the hottest swing bands in LA" (Good Day LA), Lizzy & The Triggermen takes the sound of 1930s swing and makes it feel arrestingly new. Be it songs about sex, drugs, or even the world ending, they take our troubles and turn them into glorious dance songs that recharge the spirit in that way only a wailing horn section can. Made up of top jazz musicians who have played with icons like Benny Goodman and helmed by the powerhouse vocals of classically-trained Lizzy, the band has packed and sold out premiere venues like The Wiltern, the El Rey, and the Troubadour, before putting out a single track, just from word-of-mouth about their electric live show.
Lizzy & The Triggermen performs "Resistance Swing," a unique blend of 1930s swing and big band jazz, infused with a modern, punk-inspired energy.
