Singer-Songwriter, recording artist, and multi-instrumentalist Tyler-Ferris Masteller is the founder of Lokeigh, located in Sacramento California. Masteller spent a decade building a community and a small following online and in the indie punk music scene of Central California. They are best known for playing ukulele in their former solo project I Kill Cameron and in the folk punk group Dandelion Massacre. These projects are easily recognizable as Masteller’s due to his melodic, pixie-like vocal register and charming-yet-devastating lyrics. Tyler-Ferris leaves the rag-tag, jangly, ukulele-centered sound behind with Lokeigh’s first official EP, Destined to Eat Your Flesh. This three song debut combines sweet vocal harmonies with crunchy electric guitars to reflect on past experiences with addiction, recovery, transgender identity, and love. Lokeigh’s latest release steps back to their solo project beginnings. Hand in Hand Combat is 5 songs of vocals and guitar, because that’s all that it takes to leave the listener delighted!
