LÖNA makes dark music for happy people. Their altpop songs are dark but they don’t linger in minor. You could compare it to a cold Dark & Stormy cocktail, as the identical twin sisters mix harsh vocal effects, with dark lyrics and electronic beats, to give it a nice kick. As twin sisters they grew closer with their shared love of dark pop songs, hence their northern-sounding band name which means "valuable" in Swedish. LÖNA talks about the passing of their dad, the longing for love and being both neurodivergent.
