An underground dutch shoegaze act.
Hailing from the misty harbor-city of Rotterdam, L’orne conjures feelings of melancholy through their blend of doomy post-rock, ethereal slowcore, psychedelic noise-rock and anything that flirts with the unpredictable and the unhinged. L’orne has won over audiences with plenty of drama and dynamics. Bringing them to silence with their surprising emotional compositions and captivating live-visuals. Last year, the band released their debut full-length album titled and I fell asleep forever, which included the song ‘Philia’ that won them the Best Track Award at the Rotterdam Music Awards 2024. With the release of their socially inadequate single 'Talk To Me Too' , the band has started the journey to find out; How are you, ragged old bunny? Pictures By Jules Van Eijs & Do Milder
L'orne plays dutch shoegaze - built more for the room than a playlist.
L'orne's live sets are loose and exploratory - consistent in quality but rarely identical night to night.
L'orne plays De Roode Bioscoop in Rotterdam on Friday 9 October.
