A nostalgic, underground rockabilly act.
Lovesick are a band rooted in old school country music, Western swing, and early rock’n’roll. Their sound draws from the shared ground where country, blues, jazz, and swing once freely mingled, delivered with natural groove, warm harmonies, and a strong sense of storytelling. At the core of the band are multi instrumentalists Paolo Roberto Pianezza and Francesca Alinovi. Pianezza moves between electric and acoustic guitar, lap steel, resonator, and dobro, while Alinovi anchors the music on upright bass with an integrated brush percussion system. Their songs feel lived in rather than revived, shaped by years on the road across Europe and the United States. Lovesick’s music does not chase nostalgia. It inhabits tradition with ease, preserving the swing, emotional honesty, and human connection of early American roots music while keeping it alive in the present.
Lovesick plays vintage American roots music, blending old-school country, rockabilly, and Western swing with warm harmonies and acoustic instrumentation.
Lovesick is anchored by multi-instrumentalist Paolo Roberto Pianezza and upright bassist Francesca Alinovi, alongside percussionist and violinist Alessandro Cosentino.
