Low:r is a UK drum & bass artist known for blending soulful musicality, funk-driven grooves and playful unpredictability into a sound that feels both uplifting and unmistakably his own. With releases on labels including Liquicity, Galacy, Spearhead, Program and Soulvent, he has become a distinctive voice in modern liquid drum & bass. After first cutting his teeth as a dubstep DJ, Ben developed the Low:r alias and began shaping the sound he is known for today, soulful, energetic and full of character, with a strong sense of musicality running through everything he creates. The name itself, borrowed from a factory test unit, reflects an industrial-strength curiosity and ambition that continues to drive his work. That sound has taken him from clubs such as Electric Brixton to multiple appearances at Liquicity Festival, while building a growing audience across the UK and Europe. Beyond releasing music and touring, he is also the founder of Undercurrent, a community-focused event brand celebrating forward-thinking drum & bass and the culture around it.
