An underground, raw indie rock artist.
L.S. Lewis is the solo project of Lorenzo Sutto Lewis, frontman of European Vampire and Red Bricks Foundation, based between Rome and Paris. Blending lo-fi indie rock with slowcore, shoegaze and alternative guitar music, L.S. Lewis builds songs from fuzzy guitars, tape-saturated recordings and understated melodies. The sound is raw and immediate, balancing intimate home-recorded textures with the energy of a full band. His debut single, Closer, introduced the project, followed by Idealise and Flashlight, each expanding its sonic palette while staying rooted in a DIY approach. The latest release, 1 Rue d'Anjou, brings the project's strongest songwriting to date, pairing restrained arrangements with bigger hooks and a more confident sense of space. Live, the songs take on a heavier, more dynamic form, sitting somewhere between indie rock, slowcore and shoegaze without losing the intimacy of the recordings. L.S. Lewis is currently finishing his debut album with producer Nicola Maria Picchi aka Loudplace.
