Half of the DJ/production duo GDS & LUCA SYN, LUCA SYN is widely regarded as one of the most respected DJs in Madrid’s Drum & Bass scene. His music is known for its unique blend of Deep, Liquid, Minimal, Techy and Acid Drum & Bass. While living in the UK, he co-founded the popular OX4DNB night on Oxford’s Cowley Road, where he booked a range of international DJs alongside local talent. After relocating to Madrid, LUCA SYN became even more determined to contribute to the growth of the city’s Drum & Bass scene. He co-launched SYNBIOSIS, a new night in the heart of the capital, where he holds a monthly residency. Currently, he is busy in the studio working with his long-time music partner GDS on a variety of new tracks. In the past years, they released several EPs and singles with legendary Drum & Bass labels such as Fokus Recordings, Celsius Recordings, and Dub Shotta, with more new music scheduled for release in 2026.
