Lucky Bastards

We, “Lucky Bastards”, got together middle of 2017, to work on our own compositions. July 2018 we started recording in Funkameba Studio Madrid, with Santi “Sweetfingers” Martin, in a complete analogue way. No computers were used. No overdubs. The energy in Funkameba Studio was so special, that we felt like playing in a small club, for friends. Santi Martin made this possible and we hope you enjoy and feel the magic we did recording, by listening to this record. And finally, the mastering sessions, in the studio of Luis del Toro in Madrid, who brought up the quality of sound, to a truly professional level. As lucky bastards, we all are in certain way, living in peace, we want to dedicate this album to all our brothers and sisters, all over the world, who have or had to escape from war and misery. Seis músicos, de diferentes partes de España y Europa, se juntaron en 2017 en Madrid, para celebrar su suerte por haber nacido en el mundo rico, tocando Blues, Soul, Funk, Rock y hasta Jazz y Country. Esto explica su nombre “Lucky Bastards” (Afortunados Bastardos). Composiciones propias, con letras comprometidas y de la vida misma, interpretadas de forma personal, en un potente y divertido directo.
