Next show: New York City, Thu 22 Oct
An underground indie folk artist.
M. Dunton is a New York City–based songwriter and guitarist whose music blends melodic, folk-rooted songwriting with layered harmony, rhythmic guitar work, and spacious production. His songs move between intimacy and atmosphere, shaped by a lifelong connection to the guitar as a source of discovery. Before moving to New York, Dunton spent seven years in Nashville as a touring and recording guitarist for other artists, performing everywhere from the Grand Ole Opry to Bonnaroo. Alongside that work, he continued writing and recording his own music, releasing his self-titled debut album in 2024 and co-founding his band, Talk Radio.
