Born in Paris of Mediterranean and Armenian heritage, Macha Gharibian draws her inspiration from a musical crossroads where memory meets reinvention: Armenian folk melodies, jazz harmonies, and contemporary arrangements blend into an atmospheric and inventive universe. Her latest album, Phenomenal Women, celebrates the multiplicity of feminine voices through this cultural exploration. Winner of a Victoire du Jazz in 2020, she extends her artistry to film and theatre composition. Her warm, intense vocals paired with a delicately atmospheric piano style create music that is both adventurous and deeply rooted.
