Petrus Mahendra, or Mahen, is a young singer in today's music scene who has been continuously creating since he entered the Indonesian music industry. His debut song titled "Pura Pura Lupa" back in 2019 marked the beginning of his journey, making Mahen a household name with a whopping 149 million views. Since then, Mahen has been enthusiastic about presenting new works up to this day. Now, at the beginning of 2024, still under the label Indo Semar Records, Mahen is set to release an acoustic album featuring some previously released songs with a different vibe. Additionally, this acoustic album will include two new songs titled "Memendam Rasa" and "Memilih Berhenti." Mahen's acoustic album, chapter 1.5, offers a fresh take on his previous works, aiming to reminisce about the songs that have propelled him to the Mahen we know today. Among the tracks in this acoustic album, there are two new songs, one of which Mahen himself penned. All the songs in chapter 1.5 share similar themes revolving around heartbreak, waiting, and happiness. Mahen hopes that this album will pave the way for his future projects.
