An underground avant-garde act.
Malesh is an experimental band from central Italy. Having started purely as a studio project to digest years of tapes and demos, the band began to expand after the first two releases. The debut album Hermitage was recorded at Ghat Studio, in the summer of 2020, being self-released during the fall of the same year. The following album La Danse Des Heures was recorded at Ghat Studio between June and August 2021 and self-released in November 2021. December 2022 saw the release of Boucles Hirsutes EP, a collection of obscure fragments cumulated through the years. The latest album To The Cloud-Cuckoo Land of Color Wheels was published on April 10th via Dark Companion Records/Unifaun Productions. The new work introduces masked figures from a removed past, hypnagogic wanderers of the Etruscan country. The album was recorded at Viburnum Studio and at San Polo's Barley Farm, from November 2023 to February 2025. Pictures by Rebecca D'Angelo
