With music that hits like a Kaleidoscope of sound, rising supernova Malik English is quickly becoming one of the most exciting,unique artist out of Brooklyn, NYC Malik English is Trinidadian/Nigerian/Canadian artist/producer from Brooklyn, NY. Growing up surrounded by different cultures he never gravitated towards any one style of music. This is evident in his effortless ability to blur genres together creating new palettes and pushing the boundaries further. His influences range from Kanye West to Bobby Womack to Paramore. Since 2020, English's efforts have led to performances at SXSW, The Apollo, SOBs, & featuring in Beyonce's Black Is King. He has received nods from AFROPUNK, NOTION, CLASH and LinkUpTV to name a few. As a young a black creative he feels as if it’s mission to create freely uninhibited by any preconceived notions of what artists that look like him should do. It’s important for him to be vulnerable and true to himself in his music. In the end music is about having fun and sharing your experiences. His goal is to make the world smaller through music and create spaces where people can rage and have fun. With big things in store, Malik English is headed straight for the top.
