Manel Cluny

Born in the 80s and influenced by his father in music, his first experience behind the decks was playing rock at parties (mostly music from the late 60s to the early 80s) while living in Lisbon, Portugal. This passion for the classics combined with a strong influence of punk rock and hip hop during his youth made for a special musical background. After moving to Berlin, influenced by the clubs, the DJs, the crowds, his passion for electronic music started to grow more and more. In his words, “you can only fully enjoy electronic music after you find your place to listen to it”. Nowadays, he has is own regular party in Berlin: "Dazed State", he is resident in one of Berlin's Festivals: "Animal Farm" and has already played in many clubs in Berlin, such as Sisyphos, Watergate, Rummelsbucht, Salon - Zur wilden Renate, Birgit&Bier, Ritter Butzke, among others... Due to his passion for clubbing he likes to embrace the different moments/mood of parties by adapting his sound to it, from melodic downtempo to fast paced groovy techno, while always keeping strong progressive elements.
