Marquis & The Rhythm Howlers

We’re the ghost band playing love songs in purgatory. We've died a little bit but lived much more. Music dark as a deep breath in a coal mine, but every song is a love song, even if it doesn't end well.
Kerrang Magazine, "...a return to the genre’s sleazy roots, playing the kind of cigarette-sodden alley music that feels like grubby prayers to a wheezing god."
 OC Weekly, “oozes volcanic creepiness”
Music Connection, “beautifully hopeful and gospel-adjacent Americana, blues and folk, passed through a horror movie filter”
