MC Reef

MC Reef, the Brooklyn born, Queens Raised Emcee, has been a driving force in the city since his first official release in 2011. MC Reef began rapping in 2008 while in high school when he was forced to choose between expulsion from school or attending a music program to atone for the violations. In 2013, MC released his first album, "The Unexpected," which took listeners by surprise as the album featured diverse concepts, deep storytelling and production laced with 808s to showcase the versatility of the young emcee. In 2014, MC Reef began performing and graced some of NYCs most legendary stages such as Club Pyramid, S.O.B's, Pianos, and NuBlu. Following the success of the first album, MC Reef released "The Unexpected Vol 2" in 2017 which features hit singles "Get High," "4 Da Night" and "Change The World" garnering attention from the likes of popular UK radio host Dan Blake. in 2019, MC Reef began touring overseas and building a steadily growing fanbase in London, creating new opportunities and fostering new relationships. MC Reef has a small list of ventures in the english country, including 4 self funded tours and 1 sold-out concert. in 2023, MC Reef released "The Unexpected Vol 3" as an end to the coveted trilogy. This final chapter boasts multiple collaborations from artists across the 50 states as well as artists from the UK scene and features production from some of Londons' rising producers.
