Mert Erkan is one of the promising upcoming forces in the melodic afro house scene. The Turkish talent has already begun making his mark on international stages; sharing the decks with artists like Tayllor and Lazare, and having his latest single played at Tomorrowland 2025. Mert’s musical journey began at the age of 8, learning classical piano and laying the foundation for a deep, emotional connection to music. His early years as a bedroom producer saw him crafting hip-hop beats, and at 21, he discovered the world of house music. Since then, he’s been on a mission to blend meaning, emotion, and energy into every track he creates. Known for his powerful presence behind the decks, Mert transforms every performance into a shared emotional experience;  encouraging audiences to ‘feel’ the music, not just hear it. His DJ sets have resonated with crowds across Turkey, from Istanbul and Bodrum to Izmir, before expanding into the Netherlands with appearances in cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Tilburg. In June 2025, Mert released his single "Faith", which quickly gained support from industry leading names in the scene including Black Coffee, Eran Hersh, Enoo Napa, and more. Just one month after its release, "Faith" was played on the iconic stages of Tomorrowland, cementing Mert’s arrival as a bold new voice in the melodic afro house movement.
