From Istanbul to the world stage, Merve is a multifaceted singer and songwriter. As a former member of the Grammy-nominated Amsterdam-based band Altın Gün, Merve showcased her talent for blending Anatolian roots with contemporary sounds, captivating audiences worldwide. With her soulful, intricate voice, she became an essential part of redefining Turkish psychedelic rock for a new generation. In 2025, Merve steps boldly into her solo career with her debut single Platonik. The title track is a hypnotic and cinematic dream —a letter whispered into the void. Sung in Turkish, it is an honest and moody sonic experience.
