Few bands have altered the vocabulary of heavy music as fundamentally as MESHUGGAH. For nearly four decades, the Swedish quintet have built one of the most distinctive bodies of work in modern metal, combining rhythmic complexity, dissonance, repetition and crushing physicality into a sound that has influenced generations of musicians. MESHUGGAH remain one of the rare bands whose influence is matched by their continued relevance. They have never simply stayed ahead of their time. They have created a musical language that much of heavy music is still learning to speak.
