An underground symphonic metal act.
Hungarian symphonic metal band Meteora was formed back in 2010 by Máté Fülöp (bass, growls) and Atilla Király (keys, clean vocals). After many lineup changes they found their current lead vocalist Noémi Holló in 2015, which marks the real start of the group. In 2017 they released their first album called Our Paradise, which was quickly followed by drummer Gábor Kása joining the band. The next two albums followed in 2020 (Tragedy of Delusion) and in 2022 (…of Shades and Colours). In between the second and third LP they re-released the title track of Our Paradise with Jonathan Pellet (Dysrider, Rage of Light) doing guest vocals. The campaign of the third record was kicked off by a duet with Chris Harms (Lord of the Lost) in the song Danse Macabre’ alongside a music video made by Dronicon Films (worked with Swallow the Sun, Katatonia, etc.). In 2022 joined Dániel Baranya on guitars, followed by Dániel Schreiber as second guitarist in 2024. 2025 marks the next chaper in the bands life as they prepare to launch their fourth LP as 3 EP-s in the second half of the year, and January next year.
