Michiko

I'm a Sydney-born and based singer, songwriter and producer whose style is described as a fusion of electronica, dance and downtempo with smooth and soulful vocals. My debut album Daydreamer was recorded in my humble basement bedroom in West London and released independently in 2006. I didn’t expect anyone to listen to or find my music, but reaction to the release, my single “Stuck On You” gained the attention of many listeners, as well as that of Lemongrassmusic, under whose label my follow up album “No Place Like Home” was released in 2010. My third album “New Beginning” was released independently in 2013 and my most recent album "Awakening" in 2019. I haven't released any new music since then, but every now and then I find fake (I suspect AI-generated) content popping up on my profile - it’s not me.
