Mick Flannery is one of Ireland’s most acclaimed songwriters and singers. The award-winning, double-platinum selling artist has released eight studio albums, three of which reached No. 1 in Ireland. Clash Magazine called him “a voice for the ages,” while The Sunday Times praised his “exquisite storytelling.” His 2021 album with Susan O'Neill, In The Game, was described by American Songwriter as a “sorrowful masterpiece” and became Ireland’s biggest-selling independent album of 2021. Mick’s songs explore the flaws, triumphs, and uncertainties of the human condition, while his live shows are renowned for their humour, intimacy, and emotional depth. Out now, The House Must Win is a 22-song standalone musical album inspired by and expanding the world of his debut record, Evening Train. The album features guest appearances from Anaïs Mitchell, Jenn Grant, Lisa Hannigan, Susan O'Neill, and more. Mick also wrote the script and music for the accompanying stage production, developed in collaboration with Liam Robinson of Hadestown fame.
