The memories you think you had, but never truly existed. That's the world that Midnight Spies are trying to capture. With their debut album, the struggles of navigating young adult life have been distilled into ten crafted songs of longing, nostalgia, melancholy, and self reflection. By mixing the downtown mood with a rose tinted ambience, the band created a short modern pop story that they just can't wait to tell to their fans and friends. "Midnight Spies" is out September 4th on all platforms. Born in the outskirts of Houston TX, Midnight Spies strive to bring the eccentricities of new wave and modern pop into their hometown. Formed by bassist/vocalist Matthew Newton and guitarist/producer Julian Martinez, the duo started writing and producing under the name Midnight Spies during the depths of 2020.
