A polished afro house artist.
Portuguese producer and songwriter Miles Carter has quietly become one of the most prolific behind-the-scenes figures in modern music, accumulating over 1.6 billion streams across a career that spans hit records, film scores, and global advertising campaigns. Carter's musical education began at five years old with classical piano and music theory, leading him to the National Conservatoire of Music in Lisbon, where he graduated at eighteen. By that point he had already released his first single at fourteen, following the path of his father, who produced music throughout his childhood. In the years that followed, Carter built an extensive production catalogue working alongside some of the industry's most recognised names, including The Chainsmokers, Lewis Capaldi, Daddy Yankee, and Black Eyed Peas, as well as producing for major brands and platforms such as Netflix. In 2025, Carter launched his solo artist project under the name Miles Carter, marking his first appearance under his own identity. The project draws on his deep-rooted love for African music, blending Afrobeats, Afropop, and a range of afro genres with electronic production, a sound that reflects both his Portuguese roots and a lifelong connection to the African musical landscape.
