Miranda Joan is a Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter, and independent musician. Born in Montréal, raised in Vancouver, Miranda’s personal experiences and the artistic and spiritual energies of the places she has called home flow through intricate songwriting and playful production to form a unique blend of Soul-Pop. Her self-released album ‘Overstimulated’, co-produced by CARRTOONS, has garnered over one million streams since its release and significant tastemaker support (NPR, CBC, BBC, Jazz FM, EARMILK, Wonderland, Consequence of Sound, KCRW, KEXP, Spotify Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds R&B). On the heels of the album, Miranda pressed and distributed the album on special edition red vinyl, headlined London’s 100 Club, supported Adi Oasis in New York and Madison McFerrin in Vancouver, and performed at SXSW. Miranda is currently on tour with The Killers as a backing vocalist, performing regularly in NY as one of the founding members of Brooklyn's Femme Jam (alongside Alita Moses, Camille Trust and Melissa McMillan) and is working on a self-produced follow up album, set for release in 2027.
