Next show: New York City, Fri 13 Nov
An underground indie folk artist.
Born in Michigan, Zachariah Moorhaus currently resides in Ann Arbor, where he enjoys kickin' back with a few cold ones, aimlessly walking the city at night whilst contemplating life's deepest questions - "who invented the mozzarella stick? Are they aware of their impact on society?", and writing music in his bedroom. A long time song-writer and former guitarist and vocalist of Ann Arbor's Beach Daisy, Zachariah's new project is folk-inspired and intimate, reflecting the emotional fluctuations of human existence and the beautiful but difficult absurdity of life itself - perfect for the existential nihilist in all of us, or those who enjoy a sublimely finger-picked nylon-string guitar, high falsettos and choruses crafted like freshly baked artisanal bread with some of that expensive butter you decided to splurge on.
