My Mine
A nostalgic italo disco artist.
My Mine is an electronic band formed by Carlo Malatesta (voice, keyboards), Danilo Rosati (keyboards, drum) and Stefano Micheli (voice, keyboards) in the early 80s. Originally produced by mastermind Mauro Malavasi, their debut single “Hypnotic Tango” was an international hit across Europe in 1983 and still today it is one of the most iconic songs of Italo Disco genre. Also, “the godfather of house music” Frankie Knuckles put his twist on the song few years later. In 1984 My Mine released the single “Zorro” followed by their first album “Stone”. In 1986 “Can Delight” marks the end of this first season of the band. In 2016 original members Carlo Malatesta and Danilo Rosati regrouped My Mine with a new vocalist, releasing the single "Like a Fool".
