An underground jazz artist.
Nadav Remez is a guitarist and composer whose music lives at the intersection of modern jazz, alternative rock and Jewish folk. Hailed for his “haunting” guitar tone and subtle yet imaginative writing, he has become a distinctive voice in the global jazz community. His latest album Summit, out August 2025, brings together Greg Tardy, Guy Moskovich, Ben Tiberio, and David Sirkis for a set of emotionally charged compositions spanning two decades of writing. Remez also co-leads Fishes, a power trio with keyboardist Steve Brickman and drummer Daniel Dor, known for its genre-defying debut Fishes In Space (2019). His past collaborations include albums with Haggai Cohen Milo (Penguin, Tzadik), Juan Andrés Ospina (Tramontana), and bassist Omer Avital. A graduate of Berklee and the New England Conservatory, Remez continues to blur boundaries with clarity, soul, and a deep sense of narrative.
