Nathav Mathilde Lunderskov, who has previously played in Lovebites, Blake and Umatic, is behind the name. With Nathav, she has plunged into a dark electronic pop universe that really shows what the versatile composer and singer has to offer. The first single Tiger from the 2015 mini album Nathav went straight into rotation on Danish Radio P4, scratching the ears and heart for weeks, with its fragile sincerity wrapped in an eighties-inspired electropop production. A pandemic and 2 children later, Nathav has finally returned to the studio, resulting in 4 new tracks - this time in English. First single You Still Miss Her, is a dramatic downtempo electro blues in 5/8 time signatures, about feeling inadequate and standing in the shadow of a prior love. Never being able to fill your own space and qualities and become complete. About trying to fulfil your talent on your own terms, but always being compared and downgraded because the encounter came later in life, even though the love is so obvious and could have been perfect. First track from up coming EP Moon River from Nathav
Nathav plays downtempo, electropop, synthpop. Nathav Mathilde Lunderskov, who has previously played in Lovebites, Blake and Umatic, is behind the name.
Nathav's live sets are loose and exploratory - consistent in quality but rarely identical night to night.
