NATTY REBEL (Mark O’Connor) Natty Rebel (Mark O’Connor) is a Jamaican singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer, and recording artist with a career spanning more than three decades. Blending authentic reggae with international pop influences, he has built a reputation for creating music that inspires and uplifts audiences worldwide. He began his career as founder and frontman of the reggae band Jammin’ Heights before forming Natty & The Operation. His debut single, One Day, was recorded at London’s Pelican Studios and mastered at the legendary EMI Abbey Road Studios. Natty Rebel later collaborated with British pop group Candy Flip, co-writing songs including Aqua Libra, Space, and Can You Feel the Love. This led to a publishing agreement with PolyGram Music Publishing (now Universal Music Publishing Group), and his work has also been associated with releases through Atlantic Records. He has toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe, and Japan, appeared on British television programmes including The Word, Men & Motors, and Hard Cases, and his band placed second in the British Battle of the Bands in Staffordshire. An independent artist throughout his career, Natty Rebel founded Go-Val Music before launching Pala Music, where he continues to write, produce, and release new music.
