For Zürich based artist Nico Vero, music is escape, reset and personal expression. That’s where his tracks come from — driven by inner states, moments of tension, and the quiet that sometimes needs to be broken. Whoever has ever felt something on a dancefloor knows what he is trying to achieve. The music has to hit. And that could mean making you move, making you think, or both at once. Every track is a fraction — a snapshot of a moment printed in noise. As resident DJ of Lebhaft — a Zürich collective built on community, with a healthy distance from the mainstream — he found a home that reflects the same values he brings to his own work: no boxes, no compromise, just honesty. Not everyone will get it. And that’s fine.
