NIK!

NIK! makes music that moves you—smooth, loud, soulful, or strange. Whether it's heartbreak or heat, the groove never lets up. It's rap with soul, hip-hop with swing, and melodies that glide and bounce in the same breath. With soulful vocals and crazy bars, it brings a dynamic energy to every track. Nothing's forced; it's all feel. As a Columbus-based artist, NIK! grew up in a house where their mom spun classics—a rich mix of sounds like J Dilla, Slum Village, N.E.R.D., No Doubt, Jay Z, Flying Lotus, A Tribe Called Quest, and Jamiroquai, among others. They spent five years in a band, freestyling live with friends, and turning all that noise into something real. The music got serious, but stayed fun. Gucci Mane, 454, Niontay, Tisakorean, and J Dilla, Matt Martians, Liv.e and N.E.R.D are still in rotation— influences that push NIK!'s sound into its own lane. Laid-back, bouncy, emotional, and always in motion, it's music to dance through the chaos to.
