Noisetrap

Noisetrap is a Prague-based band known for their high-energy live shows and studio recordings. Their music defies genre boundaries, drawing natural inspiration from musical influences such as Archive, Massive Attack, Nine Inch Nails, and Depeche Mode. Noisetrap delivers their set with intensity, density, and dynamism—always carrying a message directed at society. Their lyrics act as a mirror, tackling topics that are often forgotten or overlooked. Nothing is taboo for them. The band has amassed extensive live experience on both the Czech and international club scene. They have also played at major festivals, including Votvírák in Milovice, Rock for People, Colours of Ostrava, and Rock Village in Banatski Sokolac, Serbia. In the summer of 2020, Noisetrap performed on the main stage of the Artu Kus festival in Trutnov, opening for the Swiss industrial-apocalyptic band The Young Gods. ​Noisetrap has released two EPs. The first, titled Devolsaw, was recorded at Prague’s Atlanticrobot studio under the guidance of producer Ian Keloski. In autumn 2021, Noisetrap recorded four more tracks under the thematic title SINdrome. The recording and mixing took place at producer Mark McGlinchey’s studio, with mastering by Amák Golden at Prague’s Golden Hive studio. A music video for the title track Burn was released in September 2021. Noisetrap will return to the Golden Hive studio in 2025, with Amak G. as producer, to record their first full-length album titled From the Cornfield.
