A homegrown, underground bluegrass act.
Bluegrass, Folk, and Punk all rolled into an acid trip. Nomadic Nobodies was a vision for many years, an idea that grew in the mind of Nobody, songwriter, vocalist, and rhythm guitar for the band. While working on the Recycling crew at Oregon Country Fair, Nobody and Damon Cochran-Salinas(Jaw Harp, percussion) met Andy (Mandolin, Vocals) and Zach Tennant (Guitar, Keys, Vocals). Playing music together around weekend work parties and throughout the fair, Damon, Zach, and Andy felt that connection in Nobody's music and knew that other people needed to hear and feel it too. Together the four decided to embark on a journey. Gage Hawke (Banjo, Vocals), also on the recycling crew at Oregon Country Fair, quickly jumped aboard. The five have been regularly practicing since the fall of 2019. For a few month period, they had Josh Corner on Upright Bass. Josh wrote a lot of the bass line in “Book of Nobody”, but his busy schedule kept him from being able to commit full-time to the band. Tyler Sherrill quickly fell into place on upright bass and can be heard on bass in the studio recordings until May 2020 when they welcomed Tanner Rainwater on electric bass. Tyler is still a member of the band and will be picking up the lead guitar flat-picking solos moving forward. Prior to recording, there was vocal backing work from Ash Robinson who is no longer part of the band. Nomadic Nobodies was in the studio in the spring/summer of 2021 for Book of Nobody.
