OASIS BOOM
Next show: Rotterdam, Fri 6 Nov
An underground krautrock act.
Tracks5
OASIS BOOM is where desert krautrock, experimental noise and techno jazz trance collide. Built around prepared guitar, battered synths and relentless drums, the French duo crafts long hypnotic rides that feel equally indebted to Saharan rock, Maloya, no-wave and club music. Their sound is raw, motorik, dusty and strangely euphoric, somewhere between a psychedelic road movie and a warehouse rave at sunrise. Formed by Mélissa Acchiardi and Vincent Duchosal in 2021, the band quickly became one of the most singular new acts on the French alternative scene, earning a place in the Jazz Migration selection. Their debut album Cactus Bus, released by Dur & Doux in 2025, turned heads with its mix of desert grooves, experimental textures and dancefloor energy. Since then, OASIS BOOM has played more than 60 shows across France and Europe, building a reputation for intense, sweat-soaked live performances that never stop moving forward. Photo © Oofzos.fr
