Olivia and the Lovers are a queer and trans cowboy band based in Chicago, looking to increase the visibility and safety of queer and trans voices, bodies, and narratives in the country music scene. Taking inspiration both from classic American folk music and cowboy standards, Olivia Love writes music as a vehicle for vulnerability and reflections on queer love, loss, and occasionally levity (but mostly not, mostly it’s a bummer. Sorry.)
