An underground indie rock act.
Open Heart Surgery is an indie rock project hailing from Chicago, born from members of previous underground acts like Sig Transit Gloria and Retro Morning. Their sound blends driving guitar melodies with catchy indie-pop sensibilities, as heard on tracks like "Split". Operating within the Midwestern indie scene, they deliver a raw, nostalgic aesthetic that captures vintage alternative charm.
