Otto Lindholm is a Brussels-based double bassist and composer exploring the space between drone, modern classical, and experimental music. His sound emerges from the physicality of the instrument: deep resonances, layered overtones, fragile harmonics, shaped in real time through subtle processing and looping. The result is music that feels both intimate and vast, where each vibration becomes part of a slow-moving landscape. His releases have appeared on labels such as Houndstooth, Sub Rosa, Bedouin Records, Gizeh, 7K!, and Totalism, earning praise from The Wire, MOJO, FACT and Mary Anne Hobbs. Lindholm’s music blurs the lines between the acoustic and electronic, unfolding as synesthetic, textural sound worlds. Patient, raw, and resonant.
