Two pianos, two personnalities, one symbiosis: a non-stop, immersive performances between classical and contemporary. Plunging their audience in near-darkness during a unified 50-minute one-shot performance, OXY MORE’s innovative concert format is aimed as much at music lovers as people who are not necessarily familiar with classical music, especially the younger generation, with emotion being at the heart of the matter. OXY MORE offers a musical journey for two pianos or four hands through a program of works combining different eras and varied styles linked to each other by contrast or continuity. Their repertoire ranges from J. S. Bach to contemporary music, including works from the classical, romantic and 20th century periods. They also collaborate in productions that combine music and other art forms, such as dance and visual arts. Founded in Switzerland in 2018, the duo is formed by Swiss pianist Philippe Boaron and Romanian-Swiss pianist Dinu Mihailescu. The artistic vision of OXY MORE Piano Duo is carefully elaborated within a team spirit, allowing the musicians to be joined by a Producer and a Musical Director.
