Pain, despair and rage. But also a constant spark of hope. These are the core emotions in the songs of Pain Of Perception. The metalcore newcomers, consisting of Nico (drums), Alex (rhythm guitar), Hendrik (lead guitar) and Lars (vocals), found each other in 2020 to give the german metalcore scene a new jolt. Even the Corona pandemic and various minor lineup changes couldn't harm the desire to create something new creative and now it's time to show the world what we’ve crafted. With inspirations taken from modern metalcore bands like Landmvrks & Crown The Empire but also veterans like The Devil Wears Prada, The Amity Affliction or A Day To Remember a new sound is created that will pick up fans of hard breakdowns as well as atmospheric sounds. Followers of these bands but also generally friends of hard riffs and emotionally charged choruses should keep their ears open. The debut EP Mindshapes was released on November 25th, 2022 and contains 5 songs that send you on a journey through crises, inner struggles and regrets, but also keeps you with a glimpse of hope for a way out. But this is just the beginning. Pain Of Perception is here to stay and can't wait to tear down the stages of Hamburg and beyond.
