PAMBELE
Pambelé is an Afro-Colombian psychedelic ensemble born between continents — weaving 60's-inspired grooves, tropical rhythms, and the pulse of the Caribbean into a dazzling new sound. Based in France and made up of musicians from Colombia, France, New Zealand, Panama, and Italy, the group explores the meeting point between Afro-Colombian traditions and Western psychedelia. Their debut album Dámelo (La Ruche, 2025) is a vibrant transatlantic journey — from the roots of champeta and cumbia to the waves of electric guitars and vintage Farfisa keys. Members of Pambelé have shared stages and studios with David Walters, João Selva, Vaudou Game, Nidia Góngora, Petrona Martínez, Toto la Momposina, The Bongo Hop and Luis Miguel, among others — crafting a sound that celebrates both ancestral heritage and global connection. Pambelé defines its own style: Afro Colombian Psychedelia.
