A polished, high-energy melodic bass artist.
“Skies never the limit.” Paper Skies is an independent artist from Toronto, Canada, known for his creativity and cutting edge production. Growing up in Toronto's diverse arts culture, Daniel Sanchez (Paper Skies) began producing music in 2015 while developing skills in graphic design and songwriting. Producing and writing for over 100 global artists, designing for local creative brands, and developing "Paper Skies" as an EDM project, Dan quickly grew a reputation in his city as a young creative mind, eager to work. After reflecting on his goals for over 10 years, Dan decided to take the full-time leap into music with his first album, "Wireframe" in 2024. The colorful EDM album highlights the value of art and human expression, and set up the journey of Paper Skies to come. While on his first tours with Dabin & Adventure Club in 2025, Dan developed his second project, "Canvas", which reshaped the Paper Skies sound. This marked a shift from producer focused listening to high energy dance music, fit for the festival stage. Now fans prepare for the long awaited album, "Greyscale", blending Dan's experience of Toronto's hiphop and pop culture with bass heavy electronic dance music. As of 2026, Paper Skies has been featured on Sony Music Canada, Soundcloud and part of tour stops for ARMNHMR and Subtronics
Paper Skies produces bass-heavy electronic music centered around melodic dubstep, color bass, and future bass.
