An underground experimental folk artist.
Paweł Płoskoń is a Polish composer, performer and improviser exploring the boundaries between contemporary instrumental music, minimalism and experimental sound. His work moves between acoustic tradition and modern sonic landscapes, combining improvisation, repetition and unorthodox textures. As a hurdy-gurdy player, Płoskoń explores the instrument’s expressive possibilities beyond its conventional associations, using its distinctive timbre, continuous drones and intricate harmonic spectrum to create immersive, atmospheric compositions. His album Covalence, released on 13 November 2026, explores the subtle interplay of sound and emotion through original compositions shaped by repetition, resonance and gradual transformation. Alongside his instrumental work, Płoskoń is also a composer of sacred choral music, exploring the relationship between the human voice, liturgical tradition and contemporary musical language.
