Peki Momés

Peki Momés is a Germany-based Turkish artist who has always expressed herself creatively but started to record music by accident in 2023. Bringing a fresh perspective to the world of groove music, she infuses her vocals with a unique blend of intuition and uncompromising authenticity. Under the production of eclectic producer Dustin Braun, she collaborates with a team of avant-garde jazz musicians from Germany. Constant friends in collaboration are multi-instrumentalist Malik Diao and drummer Matthias Hetzer. Since Peki Momés is an admirer of analog art connected to her photography works, the project embraces a hybrid sound design consisting of dirty tape recordings, dull ribbon mics and crispy drums. Being hosted on Mocambo Records, the agenda of Peki Momés foretells more releases soon.
