Penera – two Polish geezers who don’t care for genre borders. Their tunes are a mad blend of UK bass, techno, and old-school breaks, with a fat dose of jungle culture and that raw, trancey filth from back in the day. Reppin’ CEL, Prozak 2.0 and the PR1VAT3 D4NC3R rave series, they’ve dropped heat on labels like 17 Steps, Hardline, Shall Not Fade, and SNC. In 2021, they kicked off their own label, POTOP Records. In 2023, they banged out the Freedom Parade anthem and the wavy POTOP SWIM CLUB comp. Their tracks got rinsed by VTSS, SPFDJ, Patrick Mason, Salome, and Riot Code. You might’ve also caught their tracks on BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM. The lads have torn up clubs and festivals all over Europe, shelling it down from warehouse raves to main stages. They also performed at NTS, HÖR, Boiler Room, and botched a few Lidl car park drifts along the way.
