A stylish, underground electro swing artist.
Piera is a loud, quirky, and queer songwriter with her heart-on-sleeve storytelling and crystalline vocal work. She uses her talent for good, combining her passion for social impact, mental health, and helping others through her collective, “Stronger With Music.” Her songwriting and stories help address social issues and spur action, as seen in "Used," through her Used End Domestic Violence Music Video Campaign, endorsed by the United Nations Spotlight Initiative and the Canadian Women's Foundation. It shows the warning signs of domestic abuse and incorporates the signal for help. Her song "Come Back Home (Abaco Relief Song)” helped to raise funds for the impacts of Hurricane Dorian, and even went on to help build a primary school in the Abaco Islands. Piera won the award of Listener Impact at the Global Music Awards for Independent Artists with this impactful piece - she’s essentially a kind human who desires to help. She has performed and sung at the United Nations Headquarters, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Microsoft, and Relief Concerts, creating action-based movement for social impact causes such as Human Rights, Gender Equality, and Climate Change. She also believes in the power of music and mental health and how it can help bring people together. Her upcoming song focuses on how she works on grounding herself when she is unable to see past the thoughts in her head. Can’t wait to share the upcoming single :)
