Pijus (pronounced Pee-ius) is an artist from Kaunas, Lithuania, moving between textured low end club music and more introspective, atmospheric sound. His work sits between the dancefloor and late night listening, focusing on rhythm, space and emotion. He started producing at 14 after discovering artists like Disclosure, The xx and Flume, and digging through channels such as Majestic Casual and Eton Messy. Those early years shaped his sense for melody and tone, while lo-fi house and rougher club tracks pulled him toward a more stripped, textural direction informed by UK leaning sounds and artists like Jamie xx, Burial and Bonobo. After building a foundation in Lithuania’s nightlife, he kept developing his sound while working across audio design projects in film and commercial contexts. His first album Clouds Below Rain leaned toward a future facing electronic palette, followed by DOTS, a collaborative project with vocalists from different scenes. In 2025 his third album Lay Low on EELF Records marked a wider breakthrough, sitting closer to house and garage but opening the way into a deeper UK influenced direction. Alongside releases he has played in cities including London, Paris, Berlin, and Dublin, building a presence across European clubs. His upcoming album Inspired Life, introduced through tracks like “Deep Inside” “Without U” with Ella Rosa and "Water" with emziii, continues that path, centred on movement, late night energy and a restrained, evolving sound.
