Tashaki Miyaki
Weaving hazy guitar pop, Tashaki Miyaki is an American rock band formed by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Paige Stark and guitarist Luke Paquin, who met in Los Angeles several years before officially starting the group. They played separately on other projects (with Stark often using pseudonyms) before putting together their self-titled Tashaki Miyaki debut EP, issued by U.K. label the Sounds of Sweet Nothing in 2011. A U.S. cassette release came out two years later. The band's proper full-length debut, The Dream, was produced by Stark and released via Metropolis Records in April 2017. Bassist Sandi Denton joined for their sophomore album, Castaway which was released on Metropolis Records July 2, 2021.
